Jackie started her ballet training at the age of 7 in Central NY where she was born and raised. After advancing through the R.A.D. Method under the directon of Delia Foley, she studied on scholarships at various schools such as; Chicago City Ballet, The Bolshoi in Vail, CO, The New York City Ballet at NYSSA and BalletMet.
From 1993-1997 Jackie danced under contract with The Pennsylvania Acadmey of Ballet Society and soon thereafter made her debut as a choreographer with PABS. Jackie is certified by John White of PABS to teach The Vaganova Method. She has taught in NY, NH, VT and PA and has choreographed an extensive amount of ballet and contemporary pieces.
In 2000, Jackie relocated to VT and joined the staff at Vermont Ballet Theatre School as ballet teacher, choreographer and ballet mistress for VBT company. From 2001-2004 she was Ballet Mistress for Albany Berkshire Ballet's annual productions of The Nutcracker and in 2005 Jackie particpated in the Youth America Grand Prix Competition.
In 2006, Jackie and her husband relocated to The Upper Valley where she continued choreographing and training dancers. Occasionally Jackie travels up to South Burlington to teach at New England Ballet Conservatory and she guest teaches at Dartmouth College as part of the Dartmouth Classical Ballet Theatre.
In the summer of 2009 Jackie joined ranks with some of the world's most recognized and educated
classical ballet instructors and is now an ABT Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the
ABT Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 3 of the ABT National Training Curriculum.
Jackie is thrilled to share and bring her 16 years of teaching experience, knowledge and love of dance to The Upper Valley.
