2010-2011 Class Schedule
September 7- June 11
Ballet Studio 260 is divided into 6 levels of ballet classes
all providing the highest quality to dance students ages seven and up.
The training syllabus is based on the
Vaganova method and The American Ballet Theatre curriculum.
>LEVEL 1: Ages 7-9
We start from the beginning learning French terminology, the basic ballet positions and the importance of musicality, imagination, stability and posture. Barre work is not introduced until age 8.

Tuesday 4:30-5:30 - $12
Required ABT curriculum Dress Code:
Mint Capezio-brand ABT leotard/skirt(1481C*), footed pink tights and shoes.
>LEVEL 2: Ages 10-11, 1 class/wk. required. You must have one-two yrs. of ballet training. We continue to improve and stregthen body awareness, alignment and technique while adding more releves, center work and jumps.
Required ABT curriculum Dress Code:
Lavender Capezio-brand ABT leotard (#1481C*), footed pink tights and pink shoes. Lavender (#1471) wrap skirt may be worn for special events.
Boys – White t-shirt or leotard, black tights, black shoes.
>LEVEL 3: Ages 12 and up, 2 classes/wk. required.
This class places empahsis on developing a strong back and core, fully stretched legs and a stable
demi-pointe. Pointe shoes are rewarded once these goals
are reached and upon teachers evaluation.
Thursday 4-5:30 - $16
Required ABT curriculum Dress Code:
Forget-Me-Not Capezio-brand ABT leotard (#1480C* and 1471C), footed pink tights and pink shoes.
Boys – White t-shirt or leotard, black tights, black shoes.
>Advanced Ballet: Ages 13 and up, at least 3 classes/wk. required. Maintaining strong technique, placement and artistry is the main focus of this class. More complex combinations will be added on pointe as well as classical ballet variations.
Monday 6-8 & Wednesday 6-8 - $20
Any colored leotard, pink or black tights and pink ballet shoes.
Boys – White t-shirt or leotard, black tights, black shoes.
>Open Int./Adv. Ballet: Ages 12 and up. For any student who has had at least 4 years of consistent ballet training.
Saturday 11-12:30 - $16
Any colored leotard, pink or black tights and pink ballet shoes.
Boys – White t-shirt or leotard, black tights, black shoes.
Tuesday & Thursday 6:15-7:30 - $16
>Adult Ballet: Ages 16 and up. This is a strong Intermediate Level Class. You must have at least 3 years of ballet training and a good understanding of the ballet terminology.
Any colored leotard, pink or black tights and pink ballet shoes.
Boys – White t-shirt or leotard, black tights, black shoes.
Monday 12-2 ,Wednesday 12-3, Friday 12-5

FULL TERM PAYMENTS AND/OR MONTHLY PAYMENTS ARE DUE BY THE 25TH OF THE PREVIOUS MONTH FOR
LEVELS 1-ADVANCED BALLET
(THIS INCUDES JAZZ CLASS)
OPEN INT/ADV. CLASS AND ADULT CLASS STUDENTS HAVE THE OPTION OF PAYING FOR
SINGLE CLASSES, WEEKLY, MONTHLY OR BY THE TERM.
